Konsent, a Czech NGO, has been busting myths about sex and relationships since 2016. As part of the educational project Love Actually, they approached us with an idea for a mobile app called OMG. The theme? Consent and interpersonal boundaries. The target audience? Teens and adults looking to improve their relationships – without the dull theory.

Developing a complete app with multiple storylines in several languages in just two and a half months? Challenge accepted. Instead of yet another dry educational tool, our task was to create an engaging online game that guides users through the pitfalls of interpersonal communication in an interactive way. No annoying logins – just quick and playful learning.

SOLUTIONAn interactive game for real-life scenarios

While Konsent transformed real-life situations into interactive stories, we brought them to life as a mobile app. Using React Native and Twine technology, we created a conversational game for iOS and Android. Through seven branching stories in four languages, players navigate uncomfortable situations, gaining essential relationship and communication skills along the way.

IN PRACTICEEscape to reality

To make the user feel part of stories that simulate real situations, we added a few tricks – occasional response delays, commonly used Anglicisms, or collectible achievement badges. Gamification reinforces the project's goal: educating through entertainment. A dedicated microsite we built for the client further enhances the game's accessibility, ensuring the topic reaches a broad audience in an engaging way.
