Travel FREE specializes in convenient sales of international brands and regional specialities in 70 stores across 16 Czech borders. To deliver the most convenient shopping experience to its customers, it decided to team up with us and turn its original loyalty app into a modern retail platform.
CHALLENGEDigitalization of retail sales
The original Travel FREE app served only as a static product presentation, with a non-intuitive environment and an unsatisfactory design. Therefore, we decided to create a brand new mobile app for iOS and Android with an improved user interface, personalized features, and a modern design for a better customer experience.
SOLUTIONInnovative loyalty app
We focused on comprehensive UX and UI design and brought the benefits of cross-border shopping into the app environment. In addition to individual user accounts with a digital club card, promotional offers, and a map of individual stores, we've added a range overview, including availability and notifications to alert customers to new products. In addition, they now have the option to sign up for the Travel FREE loyalty program directly in the app. In addition to a better user experience, all customers can also look forward to faster checkout times.
HIGHLIGHTSMoving from a native to a multi-platform approach
The project's biggest challenge was the decision to move from native to multi-platform development. Initially, we used separate iOS and Android data layers. However, with the new approach, we integrated the multi-platform data layer for both operating systems, making it easier and faster to work on both platforms. The result is a genuinely modern loyalty app.
We chose Ackee as a partner for the development of our mobile app, and the result has absolutely met our expectations. We created a brand new app, and our users are giving it positive reviews. We are looking forward to further cooperation.
