Agentic engineering
Agentic engineering is the engineering discipline of reliably building software with the help of autonomous AI agents. It is not just about prompts — it covers context management, designing verification loops, security rules, MCP integrations and measuring where a team and a project actually stand in adoption.
At Ackee we measure agentic engineering adoption on two axes: PAL for projects and AEPL for individual developers. Both frameworks are described in our article on the Agentic Development Lifecycle (ADLC).
