HITL (human in the loop)
HITL (human in the loop) is a technique where a human continuously reviews and corrects the steps of an AI agent instead of delegating the work autonomously. In agentic development it is the starting point of adoption — the developer first observes how autonomous AI agents behave on real code, and only then lets out a longer leash.
At Ackee, HITL is the first step of introducing ADLC. The follow-up levels are laid out in our practical adoption plan.
